Texas Tech Credit Union members who finance a new or used auto in the month of May will get a free cruise for two. Loan amounts less than $15,000 still qualify for the promotional rate but will not receive a cruise certificate.

This promotion is good from May 1st through May 31st 2025.  Applications started by May 31^st that are funded by June 6^th will receive a cruise certificate.

Members can refinance an existing Texas Tech Credit Union auto loan and get a great rate, but are not eligible for a free cruise certificate.

Your cruise certificate entitles you and a guest, to a 5 Day/4 Night cruise vacation for two to Mexico, the Bahamas, or the Western Caribbean. Enjoy your time aboard a luxury cruise ship from Royal Caribbean, Carnival or other major cruise lines. Your vacation includes a beautiful interior stateroom with a king-size bed or two twins (based on double occupancy), all onboard gourmet meals and snacks, 24 hour complimentary room service, dozens of exciting shipboard activities, a wide range of nightly entertainment, first run movies, shopping and fabulous ports to visit.

You can upgrade to an ocean view stateroom, a balcony stateroom, mini or large suite, or a family cabin that sleeps 4 people. There will be an additional upgrade fee to cover the cost difference, based upon the port of departure, travel dates, cruise line, cruise ship and itinerary selected. All upgrades are subject to availability.

Members are responsible for port charges, taxes and government fees, as well as transportation, gratituies, and other onboard expenses.

Yes! Your cruise certificate can be extended up to an 8 Day/7 Night cruise vacation at a special rate. Any extended cruise is subject to availability based on port of departure, travel dates, cruise line, cruise ship, itinerary, and room allocations.

Choose from 175 sailing dates at ports including Miami, Port Canaveral, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Galveston. Other ports are occasionally offered and may be subject to a surcharge.

During your loan process, we will coordinate with you to either pick up your cruise certificate or mail it to you once the loan has been completed.

Your cruise certificate must be registered within 45 days of issuance and pay the booking fee.  You have 18 months from the issue date to book and complete your cruise.

You can bring additional cruise guests and they will receive a special group rate pricing. Kids or guests in the same stateroom are usually available at a significantly discounted rate. Larger family staterooms are available for an additional fee.

If you are unable to use your cruise certificate, you can transfer it to family or a friend prior to registration at no additional cost.

Free cruise certificates are limited to one per household, but you can finance as many auto loans as you would like to take advantage of Texas Tech Credit Union’s great rates.
