Position Summary: The Marketing Engagement Assistant will be a creative and enthusiastic member of our marketing team who will help grow our presence on campus and in the community. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a variety of marketing functions from campaign planning to event execution to social media content creation. The preferred candidate is a current Texas Tech Student who knows the campus vibe and is eager to bring energy, ideas, and authenticity to the Texas Tech Credit Union.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including email, digital, print, and social media
- Represent Texas Tech Credit Union at community events, campus activities, and promotional opportunities
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and coordination at events
- Distribute marketing materials, promotional items, and giveaways engaging authentically with attendees
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative marketing strategies targeted toward students
- Share brand messaging and your personal experience as a member through social media (within brand guidelines).
- Capture content (photos/videos) during events to be used across marketing channels
- Conduct market research on competitor analysis to support campaign development
Skills & Qualifications
- Upper-level student currently enrolled at least part time at Texas Tech University, preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Energetic, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with social media and paid media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Familiarity with content creation (multi-media design and copy writing)
- Must be available for occasional nights or weekends depending on events
