Position Summary

The Branch Support Specialist will serve as the primary contact for branch support as it relates to everyday branch needs.  This role will also provide assistance in overseeing day-to-day functions of Texas Tech CU’s Operations Branch.  The core authority and success of the Branch Support Specialist relies in their understanding of Texas Tech CU’s culture, their attention to detail, and their ability to assess and respond to the needs of Texas Tech CU guests and employees at all Texas Tech CU Branches.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve Texas Tech CU members, employees, and guests pleasantly and professionally in accordance with Texas Tech CU core values of Trust, Respect, Excellence, Kindness, and Stewardship.
  • Greet and welcome every guest in a professional, TREKS manner.
  • Answer employee requests, inquiries, and concerns in a timely, effective, and kind manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper follow-up and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform operational services tasks related to Texas Tech CU Branch Support
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of supplies and equipment daily, including breakroom and hospitality amenities for all Texas Tech CU Branch locations in Lubbock and out-of-town branches as needed
  • Restock supplies as needed, facilitate the ordering & delivery of supplies to other branches.
  • Receive, sort, process, and distribute all incoming/outgoing and interoffice mail to all Texas Tech CU locations.
  • Complete daily runs between Texas Tech CU branches, as well as to the Tax Assessor’s Office, Lubbock County Courthouse, and other local offices as needed.
  • Conduct daily visual inspections of assigned Credit Union vehicles; operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Report any vehicle issues and/or maintenance needs to Texas Tech CU Building Services Supervisor.
  • Assist Consumer Banking Director with special projects; perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform operational services tasks related to Texas Tech CU Branch Support and the Operations Branch.
  • Receive visitors at the Operations Branch front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and employee break room to include routine daily tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of Operations Conference Rooms and Operations Huddle Room.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, employee break room, and ensure Texas Tech CU standards for cleanliness and security are always met.
  • Maintain building opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist in coordination of setup and removal/storage of event seating and equipment for special events and meetings at the Texas Tech CU Operations Branch or the Main Community Room.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with Texas Tech CU’s Building Services Department.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by engaging in relevant continuing education and training opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Texas Tech CU vehicle requests and reservations in coordination with the Texas Tech CU Building Services Supervisor.  Maintain the reservation calendar accordingly.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize duties and manage multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Dedicated to achieving organizational efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with all Credit Union departments
