Exciting things are happening at Texas Tech Credit Union! In our continued efforts to bring you the very best products and services, we are upgrading our current checking and saving account products and introducing a simplified and innovative banking experience.
On June 1st, 2022, all checking accounts automatically upgraded to Spend Accounts, and all savings accounts upgraded to Save Accounts. There are no changes to your account number, card number, automatic payments, or deposits within your existing account(s), so feel free to sit back, relax, and enjoy the new experience!
Starting June 7th at 10 am, iOS users will need to update their Texas Tech Credit Union app if it did not update automatically, and Google Play/Android users will need to delete the old app and download the new app from Google Play Store.
After you've updated your app, log in by following the steps below:
1. Enter your current digital banking username and password.
2. Select "Create New Password".
3. Read and accept the disclosure.
4. Verify your identity by entering your username, SSN/TaxID, and Birth Date.
5. Select a delivery method to receive a one-time temporary authentication code. (SMS Text, Email, Voice call)
6. After entering your one-time verification code, you will be prompted to create a new passcode.
7. Verify your contact information.
8. Start banking anytime, anywhere!

iOS Users: If your app did not update automatically, please visit the App Store to update manually.
Users may still experience issues if their operating system is not up to date. Learn more about how to update your iOS here!
Google Play/Android Users: Your app will not automatically update - to access new features, please delete your current TTCU app and download the new one from the Google Play Store.
This upgrade will only affect your TTCU mobile banking app. You will not need to update your mortgage app.
We are upgrading our checking and savings accounts to ensure that we provide our members with the most innovative banking experience.
With Spend and Save Accounts, you have more benefits and no monthly fees.
Our new Online Banking platform will include new and enhanced features with more to come.
There will be no changes to your account number, card number, automatic payments, or deposits established within your existing account(s).
If you are currently enrolled in Bill Pay we will send more information in the coming weeks to your preferred contact method. Updated information will also be available on this page on May 16th.
Your accounts are eligible to qualify during the month of May. If your qualifications are met, rewards and interest will be paid on May 31st.
Your account numbers will not change. While the account names may be called Spend or Save, you can give your accounts a nickname in Online Banking.
* Direct deposit required. Receiving direct deposit funds up to two days early is dependent on when payment details were provided by the payer.
If your deposit does not arrive early, it will arrive on your scheduled payday.
