Marketing Intern

Position Summary: The Marketing Intern at Texas Tech Credit Union will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing team and gain valuable exposure and experience in all aspects of the marketing industry including inbound marketing, digital advertising, social media management, project management, graphic design, community events and more.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in creating content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, print materials, social media marketing, videos, and blogs
• Attend community functions and events to promote the Texas Tech Credit Union brand and to develop relationships within the community
• Collaborate with team members on community outreach initiatives, current promotions, and advertising campaigns
• Conduct research on current marketing trends and developments
• Collaborate with team members to create innovative marketing strategies
• Gain first-hand experience interacting with various departments across the credit union

Skills & Qualifications

• Upper-level student currently enrolled at least part time at Texas Tech University or Lubbock Christian University
• Familiarity with social media and paid media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok)
• Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (Google)
• Familiarity with content creation (multi-media design and copy writing)
• Familiarity with project management tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools (Microsoft Suite)
