Position Summary: The Human Resources Intern provides administrative support to the HR department while gaining valuable exposure to the various aspects of the HR function and duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and interview process, track status of candidates in HRIS.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training coordination for new hires.
- Assist with basic benefit administration and questions.
- Assist with or prepare correspondence as requested.
- Scan and prepare documents into appropriate electronic files.
- Ensure an environment of excellence in the human resources department by answering employee requests and questions.
- Develop knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations as it relates to the Human Resource function.
- Assist with data analysis and data integrity across various systems.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and update HRIS as needed.
- Adhere to company safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform related duties as required.

- A working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures is preferred.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and payroll systems, and related software
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and ability to execute.
