How to Join
In order to take advantage of the products and services at Texas Tech Federal Credit Union, you need to become a member. We call you a member because when you open a share savings account, you become an owner of this organization. To continue taking advantage of all our competitive products and services, you are required to keep a minimum membership deposit in your share savings account at the credit union. Who Can Join?
Anyone can join! If you are already a member of an eligible group (shown below), all you need to do is apply for membership. If you are not already a member of an eligible group, you can join the credit union by joining the Texas Tech University Alumni Association. Don't worry, you do not have to be an Alumn of Texas Tech to join the Alumni Association! Anyone can join the Alumni Association by paying $35. You can join the Alumni Association by coming to any of our branches or by clicking here. Eligible groups include:

• Faculty, students, and employees of Texas Tech University & Texas Tech Health Sciences Center
• Texas Tech Alumni Association members
• Faculty and employees of Lubbock Christian University
• Employees of University Medical Center
• Retired persons who receive pensions and/or annuities from the above employment
• Immediate family members to those listed above

Again, don't worry if you don't fall into one of the above groups! Texas Tech FCU will give you a complimentary 12-month membership to the Texas Tech Alumni Association, worth $35. This way, you get to show your Texas Tech pride while you enjoy your high-yielding savings account at Texas Tech FCU.
